Coronavirus Mar 17, 2020

Office and community rooms closed.

Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus (Covid-19), we will be closing our office to public access from 1pm on Tuesday, 17th March 2020. This is a necessary precaution we are taking to protect the health and wellbeing of our tenants, customers and staff members. We will continue to monitor the situation, paying close attention to guidance from the NHS and Scottish Government.

We are working to keep essential services running. Tenants and other customers can contact us by phone or email. Visits to tenants’ homes will be limited, with our repairs service focused on urgent and emergency repairs for the time being. Thank you for your patience during this time.

When you call to schedule an appointment, we will ask you some extra questions. This is to make sure we can take any extra steps needed to carry out visits to your home safely. We will let you know what we expect from you when visiting your home. It is important that you advise us if you, or a member of your household, is self-isolating or have been diagnosed with Covid-19.

Our community rooms are also closed during this time, and activities that we are involved in cancelled. This includes community breakfast sessions, and ESOL classes based at TASK Childcare. The Easter school holiday programme has been cancelled.

You can call us on 0141 429 3900 or email us at admin@newgorbalsha.org.uk if you have any queries and you can access our latest service announcements on our website, Facebook, and twitter pages. Please note, our usual Wednesday hours have been extended to 5pm during this time.

If you are struggling due to the current situation, please contact our welfare rights team. If you have had your hours reduced, are self-isolating or ill, or are on a zero hours contract, they can let you know what help is available. Please call 0141 429 3900 or email admin@newgorbalsha.org.uk.
