Rose Garden Orchard Jun 05, 2017

Learn a new skill and help to maintain the Rose Garden Orchard for all to enjoy, with regular volunteer activities.

The beautiful Rose Garden Orchard is a voluntary project which relies on local residents to look after it. Help the group to maintain this piece of living art so that everyone in the community can enjoy the free fruit it brings to the area.

No experience necessary to take part. Tools and gloves are provided, and training will be provided by The Orchard Project as part of the Helping Britain Blossom programme.

Volunteers are needed to help out every second Sunday of the month, with the next few dates listed below:

  • 11th June
  • 9th July
  • 13th August
  • 10th September
  • 8th October
  • 12th November

There are also seasonal activities to take part in, such as harvesting the berry picking during summer and the harvest festival in autumn. Dates for these events to be confirmed.
