New Gorbals Housing Association is delighted to host the first ever Gorbals Volunteer Fair this January.
On Wednesday 18th January 2023, a host of local groups and organisations will be at St Francis Centre between 2pm and 6pm, to chat about the current volunteering opportunities available in the area.
Tenants, residents and general Gorbals lovers are invited to come along to find out how to get more involved in the local community, by helping local organisations develop and deliver great things across the Gorbals. By volunteering, you’ll have the chance to learn new skills, meet new people and help to provide some fantastic services and activities to people of the Gorbals.
There will be a host of organisations on hand to speak to on the day, including TASK childcare, Home Start Glasgow South, Friends of Southern Necropolis, Givin it Laldie and Gorbals Ideas Fund.
Food and refreshments will also be provided at this free event.
