Head of Development

We are a community-controlled housing association with a strong track record in delivering high-quality homes and regeneration projects.  Based in the heart of the Gorbals, we are committed to creating sustainable, inclusive communities and delivering excellence in housing and placemaking.

As Head of Development, you will lead on the planning and delivery of new build, modernisation and environmental projects.  As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will also contribute to the strategic direction, governance and operational success of the Association.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead on all aspects of new build and regeneration projects, including site identification, feasibility, planning, procurement and contract management.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, regulatory and legislative requirements.
• Manage multi-disciplinary project teams and line manage development staff.
• Identify and secure development opportunities and funding, including private finance and government grants.
• Contribute to corporate planning, financial forecasting and carbon reduction strategies.

Salary: EVH Grade 10 SM17 to SM19 £80,045 to £83,999.
