Tenant and Resident Groups

We have a number of local tenants and residents groups which meet regularly to share information, give feedback and contribute to the decision making of the Association.

  • Laurieston Estate Action Group
The action group meet every 6 weeks to discuss service standards with us and other service providers (for example, Glasgow City Council). Members are local tenants, owners and residents who have an interest in their area. Their meetings are open to local people.
  • Riverside Tenants and Residents Group
This group is working with the Housing, Maintenance and Communities teams to improve their local area. They meet
6-weekly often with input from community police and Glasgow City Council.
  • Hutchesontown  Tenants and Residents Group
This group meets in St Francis Community Centre, but is for anyone in the local area who wants to get more involved. They meet on a Thursday at 6pm every 6-weeks.
  • Ukrainian Tenants Group
Our Ukrainian tenants meet every 6-8 weeks for peer support, to share information and to speak to our staff teams. Interpreters are provided.
  • Online Tenants and Residents Group
We regularly offer an online Teams call for those who cannot, or do not, wish to attend in person.  This is open to anyone on our Your Views list, to share information or give feedback.
  • Livingwell Tenants Groups
We hold 6-weekly drop-ins for coffee and chat at our 3 Livingwell services.  This is a chance to get to know staff, share information and listen to feedback.
  • Oatlands Drop In
We hold 6-weekly drop-ins for coffee and chat for any residents in the Oatlands area, in the Oatlands Hub, with information on NGHA community events.

Tenants and residents can attend any meeting where they feel the most comfortable, with the exception of  the Livingwell and Ukrainian meetings which are for those communities only. If you would like to find out more about any of these groups and when they are next meeting please contact Susan Burn on 0141 429 3900 or email susan@newgorbalsha.org.uk or text/phone 07971 819780.
