Pine Place Nominated for a Scottish Home Award 2026
We are delighted to share the news that our Pine Place development has been nominated for a Scottish Home Award 2026.
The development, which comprises of one block of 18 flats and 10 terraced houses, has been selected as a finalist in the Social Housing Development of the Year (up to 100 units) category.
The Awards ceremony takes place on Thursday 18th June 2026 at Doubletree by Hilton in Glasgow.
Pine Place has added 28 new affordable homes to our stock, including one- and two-bedroom flats and four- and five-bedroom houses, with two homes adapted to be wheelchair accessible. Sustainability was a key focus with this development, using timber framing to reduce embodied carbon, and air source heat pumps used in every home to help lower emissions and energy bills for tenants.
Tenants began to move into the Association’s Pine Place development, on the former site of Gorbals Health Centre, in summer 2025.
As part of our commitment to tenants, our Tenant Participation Officer hosts a regular resident’s meeting specifically for those in our new Pine Place development. This gives residents the opportunity to find out what’s happening in the area, meet their new Housing Officer and new neighbours and raise any concerns they may have.
