Volunteers Week Celebration 2026
We celebrated our fantastic volunteers with a buffet reception and a quiz on Wednesday 3rd June, during Volunteers’ Week 2026.
The evening started with Community Coordinator, Michael Fullerton, thanking the volunteers for their time and commitment and showing a slide show with some photos from all their events.
Our volunteers give up their time at our community meals and breakfasts, Gorbals Ideas Fund, Management Committee, Tenants Panel and much more. They are a valued part of our community team.
This year’s quiz was won by the “Gorbals Young Team” with the much- coveted wooden spoon won by “Team NoName”!
